Bengaluru is the capital of the Indian state Karnataka. The city was known as the "Garden City of India". Bengaluru was one of the most important tourist centers of the Karnataka state. Central business district of Bengaluru consists of places MG Road, Brigade Road, Commercial Street, Vidhana Soudha etc. Bengaluru had many lakes and parks.
Iskon temple :
Iskcon temple is sri Radha krishna temple has deities of Radha and Krishna located at Rajajinagar, in North Bangalor.It is one of the largest ISKCON temples in the world.The temple is a huge cultural complex that was inaugurated in 1997 by Shankar Dayal Sharma. Darshna timings is from 4.15 am to 8.15pm
Nandi hills :
Nandi Hills or Nandi betta (Anglicised forms include Nandidrug and Nandydroog) is an ancient hill fortress in southern India, in the Chikkaballapur district of Karnataka state. It is 10 km from Chickballapur town and approximately 60 km from the city of Bengaluru. The hills are nestled near the town of Nandi. In traditional belief, the hills are the origin of the Arkavathy river. One should watch sunrise and sunset in nandi hills.
Bannerghatta National Park :
Bannerghatta National Park, near Bangalore, Karnataka, was founded in 1970 and declared as a national park in 1974.In 2002 a portion of the park, became a biological reserve, the Bannerghatta Biological Park. It is a popular tourist destination with a zoo, a pet corner, an animal rescue centre, a butterfly enclosure, an aquarium, a snake house and a safari park. There are ancient temples in the park for worship and it is a destination for trekking and hiking. The park offers safari excursions managed and supported by the Karnataka State Tourist Development Corporation.
Zoo is open between 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM whereas safari starts at 10:00 AM and ends at 4:30 PM.
Wonderla Amusement Park :
Wonderla Amusement Park is located on the Mysore road, 28 km from Bangalore. one can visit wonderla between 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Wonderla has 55 land and water-based rides.The park features a wide variety of attractions including some rides, water rides, a musical fountain and laser shows, a virtual reality show. Wonderla Bangalore has a full-fledged dance floor with a twist: electronically controlled rain showers. Wonderla also has attractions specially designed for children.Bangalore has been ranked 1st in India and 7th best in Asia by Tripadvisor for 2014. the highest for any Amusement park in India.
Lalbagh :
Lalbagh or Lalbagh Botanical Gardens, meaning The Red Garden in English, is a well known botanical garden which is a 240 acres located in southern Bengaluru, India. The garden was originally commissioned by Hyder Ali, the ruler of Mysore, and later finished by his son Tipu Sultan. It has a famous glass house which hosts two annual flower shows (26 January and 15 August). Lalbagh houses India's largest collection of tropical plants, has a lake, and is one of the main tourist attractions in Bengaluru. Lal Bagh is also home to a few species of birds. it opens at 6AM in the morning and closes at 6PM in the evening.
