The new Star Wars movie The Last Jedi is set to bring us a very different take on the iconic hero Luke Skywalker. The new take disturbed star Mark Hamill when he first read the film’s screenplay. Luke loses the optimism that guided him through the first trilogy. He's become the kind of Jedi mentor that Obi-Wan Kenobi and Yoda never were: one who says the Jedi have to end. In an interview with SFX magazine, Hamill revealed that Skywalker will not follow in Ben Kenobi's footsteps.
