Paul Manafort has been given permission by a federal judge to go to the Hamptons for Christmas.
According to Business Insider, he sought the conditions of his release to be modified because it's the only way he could see many members of his family for Christmas.
Manafort is the former chairman of President Donald Trump's campaign. He is currently under house arrest.
Judge Amy Berman Jackson allowed the deviation because Manafort has elderly relatives who cannot travel.
