Science Experiments With A 1911 Pistol

2018-01-30 1 Dailymotion

What happens if you wrap a Ruger 1911 pistol with aluminum foil, zip ties and duct tape? How many zip ties will it take to cause the 1911 pistol to malfunction? Is one piece of aluminum foil powerful enough to stop the slide from functioning properly? Will this create an over pressure situation and kaboom the 1911 pistol? This has been suggested by viewers on multiple occasions and seemed like a fun video to do! This is a wacky function test and there are a lot more in the Tical Operational Science Playlist! The title of this video is: Science Experiments With A 1911 Pistol.\r

The Glock function test is an operation where we subject the legendary Glock to unusual circumstances and observe how the Glock performs. Sometimes we test products or lubricants. Other times we test the Glock without important parts or with unnecessary parts added! Wrong ammunition? Parts from other glocks or guns? We even attempt to bust myths! Stopping short of exploding our gun! I primarily use a Glock 17 in my tests. Sometimes a Glock 19, Glock 23, Glock 22 or Glock 20 is featured. The glock 17 has been featured in over 50 test videos in the last two years. Going strong, the only part I have replaced is the recoil spring! However, I believe that the fire control group will be the next replacement. Dont try this at home. This is the Worlds Most Abused Glock.\r

Mattv2099 is a highly trained, lifelong target shooter. Mattv2099 follows the four rules of firearm safety. All operations that are conducted and uploaded to YouTube are entirely safe. These videos are highly edited. The videos show the comedic and entertaining highlights of painstakingly slow and safe shooting operations. The safety stuff is edited out because that is not fun or interesting to watch. Mattv2099 has advisors which include shooting instructors. These advisors will critique Mattv2099s videos and let him know if and when he legitimately does something that is unsafe. Mattv2099 shoots safely but says stupid stuff in order to evoke an emotional response and thus get views on YouTube. Mattv2099s videos are monetized via Google Adsense. Thanks for watching.\r

Many firearms, including Glocks, are designed to be carried loaded with a round in the chamber. Unless the trigger is pulled, requiring a rather intentional effort with a Glock, they are completely safe. This was a goofy, pointless experiment, but his allegations that this was dangerous were invalid. If you mess with the trigger in some way, then yes. With an unmolested trigger, it really doesnt matter what you do with the gun, loaded or not, perhaps aside from tossing it in the fireplace. They dont discharge without pulling the trigger, ever, period. Ive carried loaded and chambered Sigs and Glocks for decades. Theyre totally safe. If someone is unable to NOT pull the trigger, they might be the kind of individual who should put their car in park and shut off the engine to avoid flooring the gas pedal at red lights, careening into oncoming traffic! This is probably not the type of person who should own firearms!\r
