A baby elephant struggled to get out of a river in Kruger National Park, South Africa, but he finally made it onto the bank after a little encouragement from his mother.
“These river banks are muddy, slippery and steep,” the filmer said. “The video shows the little one attempting to get out, but the steepness and the height of the bank was just too much for those short little legs.”
“Luckily for him, mommy was right nearby and with a little encouragement from her side, our brave little baby elephant finally manages to gather the strength and pull himself up the bank and onto his feet again,” the filmer added.
