Australian scientist David Goodall has chosen to end his life with a lethal injection in Switzerland. He died at a clinic in Switzerland listening to “Ode to Joy” at the age of 104. According to The New York Times Goodall was not terminally ill but his health had deteriorated. The day before ending his life Goodall told reporters he was not afraid of death. He said: “I no longer want to continue life, and I’m happy to have a chance tomorrow to end it.”
