Sungai Pelek assemblyman Ronnie Liu was at Bukit Aman only as a witness, his lawyer Ramkarpal Singh told reporters on Monday.
He added that Liu gave his statement willingly over his attendance at a recent meeting in Kajang allegedly involving former Communist Party of Malaya (CPM) members.
