The man who married an 11-year-old child was fined RM1,800 by the Gua Musang syariah court.
The 41-year-old Che Abdul Karim Che Hamid was charged on Monday for marrying without approval and also getting into a polygamous marriage without consent.
He pleaded guilty to both charges.
