It is very important to perform Govts Dwadashi Puja according to the method. On the Dwadashi of Krishna Paksha in the month of Kartik, Govts Dwadashi is celebrated as a cake. Cow-calves are worshiped on this Dwadashi before Diwali. The importance of Govts Dwadashi is also sung by the Devas.
गोवत्स द्वादशी पूजा विधि के अनुसार करना अत्यंत आवश्यक होता है। कार्तिक के महीने में कृष्ण पक्ष की द्वादशी तिथि को गोवत्स द्वादशी केक रूप में मनाया जाता है। दिवाली से पहले आने वाली इस द्वादशी को गाय-बछड़ों की पूजा की जाती है। गोवत्स द्वादशी का महत्व देवों ने भी गाया है।
