On the occasion of the blessed month of Ramadan, the Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ICESCO) broadcasts, for the second year in a row, the "Intellectual Sparks" program, where prominent intellectual and cultural figures discuss important issues and new ideas that enrich cultural life and contribute to renewing the fields of thought, culture, literature and science, and works to promote peace values and spread knowledge.
In this episode, Dr. Amira Elfadil, African Union Commissioner for Social Affairs, talked about the importance of the strategies and policies for women empowerment in the African continent, including the equal access to education for girls, the economic inclusion of women, and the involvement of the civil society in supporting women.
