Enhanced Nutribuns or E-Nutribun, a bread developed by Department of Science and Technology - Food and Nutrition Research Institute (DOST-FNRI) for the Department of Education's School Base Feeding Program (SBFP), are being prepared by staff of BD Breads and Buns Bakery, a license manufacturer of DOST, at Mandaluyong City on May 30, 2022. Distribution of nutribun to schools started during the administration of former President Ferdinand Marcos, father of incoming President Bongbong Marcos Jr., who plans to continue the SBFP of the Duterte government.
