Global Protest and Song for Schapelle Corby (by Tara Hack)

2009-02-10 1 Dailymotion

This beautiful song (and global protest video) tells the story of Schapelle Corby, an innocent suffering extreme cruelty in the hell of an Indonesian prison cell.

Schapelle was subjected to the most harrowing of show trials, in which evidence and justice were simply diversions to be dismissed as quickly as possible. She was sentenced to a barbaric 20 years for importation of marijuana, a crime which she could not have committed. She is still there now: suffering.

Tara Hack recorded this outstanding song at the end 2008, in New York. It is a remarkable track, from a hugely talented emerging artist. A beautiful song and a beautiful voice for a desperate cause.

Hopefully it will help spread awareness of Schapelle's plight to a wider audience. Please remember that Schapelle's cries for justice are ignored, her tears are not seen, and her voice is not heard: but YOU can become her voice. Please pass on her story, this song, and our Schapelle videos to friends, to colleagues, to anyone who will listen.

Please Don't Walk Away...
