It is the twenty-first day of the twelfth month, in the year of the Rabbit. On the night of Queen Oning's birthday banquet, a group of unlikely individuals—a Prince and their bodyguard, the head of the Dai Li, a "Scribe" and "Palace Lady", a "Waiter/Detective", and the palace's famous Head Chef—find themselves the witnesses to the aftermath of Advisor Zhiyuan's murder. As always, shenanigans ensue. They are eventually faced with a grim discovery: the man that murdered him is Kai, the Head of the Conclave of Sages. What was a triumphant victory against him quickly turns into a horrifying unleashing of an Eldritch horror. Suddenly, the party must fight for their lives. Or is it too late?
