The age of criminal responsibility will be lifted from 10 to 12 in Victoria under a plan to be announced by the Victorian Government next week. Social Justice Advocates are disappointed the age will not be raised to 14 and remain concerned it is as low as 10 years old in most Australian jurisdictions.
