The Guyana-Venezuela border controversy is occurring as this country has been seeking the acquisition of the supply of natural gas from Venezuela.
It is also occurring at a time when Guyana is experiencing a crude oil and natural gas boom.
Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley is calling for peace, as he says he Quote "would not like to see the relationship between Venezuela and Guyana deteriorate to a point where consequent actions would negatively damage all of us because all of us would be damaged ." Unquote.
So in addition to what's at stake for Guyana and Venezuela, what is at stake for Trinidad and Tobago?
