Barrackpore residents are calling on the Local Government Minister to say why a bridge project in their community was started and then stopped soon after.
To date, it remains incomplete and the alternative route cannot accommodate large vehicles.
As reporter Cindy Raghubar-Teekersingh tells us, just this week the community went hours without electricity because a T&TEC truck was unable to cross the existing bridge to quickly effect repairs.
