El Chapo, one of the most infamous drug smugglers in the world, gained notoriety for his innovative smuggling techniques, such as elaborate tunnels with electricity and ventilation systems. Despite multiple captures and high-security imprisonments, he managed to escape using bribes and manipulation, posing a constant challenge to authorities. Eventually captured in 2016 by Mexican Marines, he was extradited to the US and held in the Supermax prison in Colorado to prevent further escapes or illegal activities.
