Stung by the childhood execution of her innocent father, Nikki Barrington (Isabella Hofmann) is an investigative reporter who crusades for innocent men on death row. That leads her to Tyler Nash (James Wilder), wrongly convicted of murdering a woman. Nikki falls for Tyler, to the point where she lies to get him out.
