The owner and manager of the cargo ship Dali have agreed to pay over $100 million to settle a Justice Department lawsuit related to the Baltimore bridge collapse. The Justice Department sued Grace Ocean Private Ltd. and Synergy Marine Group to recover cleanup costs after the ship struck the Francis Scott Key Bridge. The collapse killed six people and disrupted shipping to the Port of Baltimore. The state of Maryland has filed a separate claim seeking damages for rebuilding the bridge, which could cost $2 billion.
