Residents of a "new" village inspired by King Charles' Poundbury are still waiting for schools, facilities, and doctors' surgeries 16 YEARS after building work began.

Plans for the £1.2 billion Coed Darcy estate in south Wales included 4,000 homes, four schools, a doctors surgery, community hall, library, sports facilities and 500,000 square feet of 'employment space'

But so far only 294 Persimmon homes have been built in the village near to Llandarcy in Neath Port Talbot, Wales, since remedial work began in 2009.
