DIY Mosquito Trap That Actually Works – No Chemicals Needed! 🦟
Sick of itchy bites and buzzing at night? You don’t need fancy gadgets or toxic sprays—this simple DIY mosquito trap is safe, natural, and super effective. Here’s how you can make it at home with stuff you probably already have:
What You Need:
1 empty plastic bottle (1 or 2 litre)
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 cup warm water
1 teaspoon dry yeast
How to Make It:
Cut the bottle in half.
Dissolve the brown sugar in warm water and pour into the bottom half.
Sprinkle the yeast on top—no need to stir!
Invert the top half of the bottle like a funnel and place it into the bottom half.
Wrap the bottle with black paper or cloth and keep it in a dark corner.
Why It Works: Mosquitoes are attracted to carbon dioxide (which the yeast releases). They fly in but can’t fly back out!
