Jeddah ( Saudi Arabia ) - Indian Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Dr. Suhel Ajaz Khan said abut the significance of the PM Modi third visit of Saudi Arabia that Prime Minister Modi is coming to Jeddah for a two-day visit. On his previous two visits to Saudi Arabia, he visited Riyadh. This will be his first visit to Jeddah, which holds special significance in terms of connectivity between India and Saudi Arabia. For centuries, the Jeddah port has been a preferred hub for trade, not just with Saudi Arabia but also with countries beyond. Traders traditionally arrived at Jeddah port and transported their goods overland to other regions. He said about bilateral dialogue that when both leaders meet, they discuss all components of the bilateral relationship. Economic partnership is a key aspect, so that will definitely be part of the discussions. Our defense partnership has been growing in recent years, so that will also be discussed. There are many other areas where we are working together, and a number of MOUs are set to be signed across various fields. He said about the main component to Saudi India relationship during this era that One of the strongest components of our relationship is the Indian community, and we have a very strong presence here. Dr. Suhel Ajaz Khan said about the PM Modi’s visit of Khajoor factory that The Prime Minister will visit one of the factories here, where he will meet Indian workers.
