Much of the UK gets off to a sunny start on Wednesday, but there will be some cloud around in southwestern England and large parts of Scotland at sunrise, with some showers around in these places too. However, as the day goes on much of the cloud recedes to give way to a bright sunny afternoon for the UK, but the risk of showers in the southwest will remain.
