Patna (Bihar), May 20, 2025 (ANI): As Congress accused the government of politicising the exercise of choosing leaders for the delegations, Union Minister Chirag Paswan on May 20 slammed the Opposition by saying that they do not want to promote capable people. “The Opposition should do as much controversy as they want on national issues but not on those issues where the whole world is watching our country... If the Opposition creates controversy on international issues in this way, what kind of image will India have at the international level?... The names of Congress MPs have only been given. Now, if they have so many doubts about their leaders, then why are they even in their party? There are groups within their party and their problem is that their choice of leaders have not been named in this. They do not want to promote capable people... This is not the first time such a delegation is being sent, all these things have happened before as well...,” said Chirag Paswan.
