May 31 2025 (ANI): A deluge of ice, mud and rock crashed down a mountain on May 28, engulfing some 90% of the village of Switzerland’s Blatten village. Scientists have reportedly termed the Glacier collapse as a dramatic example of climate change's impact on the Alps. Its 300 residents had already been evacuated earlier in May after part of the mountain behind the Birch Glacier began to crumble.
