Bring out your umbrellas and rain boots as the Philippines officially welcomes the rainy season.
The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) announced on Monday, June 2 the start of the season following several days of scattered to widespread rainfall brought by the southwest monsoon, locally known as “habagat.”
