"I was with one of my friends, and we did a jump," the filmer, Madison, told WooGlobe. "I ran out of gas on the jump, so I fell."
While the rider approaches the jump with full confidence, an unexpected betrayal by the bike results in a rough landing. The subject takes a hard fall onto the muddy ground.
This clip goes to show that even challenges that seem easy on paper can turn out to be anything but.
