The project aimed to improve connectivity to the scenic Bangus Valley. Locals have welcomed this initiative, expressing gratitude to administration for prioritizing infrastructure in region. They applauded the timely execution of project, especially ahead of the tourist season. With govt keen on promoting eco-tourism, Handwara-Bangus road is seen as a model initiative that balances strategic connectivity. As Phase 2 advances steadily, optimism is growing that the full 40-kilometre stretch could be operational ahead of schedule.
