Bathinda: Social media influencer Kanchan Kumari alias Kamal Kaur Bhabhi (30) was brutally murdered on 9 June in the parking lot of a hospital in Bathinda, Punjab.
Jaspreet Singh and Nimratjit Singh have been arrested, while the main conspirator, Amritpal, is absconding. Police say Amritpal lured her from Ludhiana under the pretext of a business meeting. She was strangled in her car with a waistband.
Shocking details reveal that the murder was driven by "moral policing." The accused claimed Kanchan’s social media content was “immoral” and hurt religious sentiments — prompting them to take this extreme step.
