New Delhi, June 14, 2025 (ANI): Speaking on the rollout of the e-Vidhan system, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta emphasized the move toward a paperless Vidhan Sabha, made possible with support from the Centre. Taking a swipe at the previous AAP government, she said Delhi was never their priority, alleging that their focus remained on Punjab and other states, while neglecting the national capital’s governance needs. She said “Our effort from the beginning has been to bring administrative reforms in all departments in Delhi, provide technical assistance and modernise and update all systems. And today we have connected the Vidhan Sabha with e-Vidhan so that there can be a paperless Vidhan Sabha... We also got the support of the Centre in this... Delhi was not at all in the priorities of their (Aam Aadmi Party) government, their priority was probably Punjab or other states, they never worried about Delhi."
