अहमदाबाद विमान दुर्घटना बचाव अभियान पर, अहमदाबाद फायर एंड इमरजेंसी सर्विसेज के सीएफओ अमित डोंगरे ने कहा, "हमें 12 जून को दोपहर करीब 1.43 बजे एक कॉल आया... हमने सभी 19 फायर स्टेशनों से प्रतिक्रिया दी... इस आपदा को कम करने के लिए 100 से अधिक दमकल वाहनों को तैनात किया गया... सभी चार इमारतों के लिए चार टीमें बनाई गईं... इस बचाव अभियान के दौरान करीब 31 लोगों को जिंदा बचाया गया और उन्हें सिविल अस्पतालों में स्थानांतरित कर दिया गया। घटनास्थल पर 90 से अधिक एम्बुलेंस की व्यवस्था की गई... ऑपरेशन में 4 घंटे लगे, आग बुझाने और शीतलन उद्देश्यों के लिए लगभग 7.5 लाख लीटर पानी का इस्तेमाल किया गया और लगभग 650 कुल जनशक्ति काम पर थी..."
