Bowser was bored and checked his TV’s hidden camera feed, hoping the villains were winning the battle. But to his frustration, the heroes were crushing them! Sans was blasting the enemy airships with his powerful Gaster Blasters, Mario was stomping Koopas, Sonic was zipping through enemies at lightning speed, Kirby was gobbling foes like snacks, and Steve had built a huge, sturdy wall protecting the Mushroom Kingdom.
Meanwhile, Plankton had an idea. “Why don’t we launch a counterattack and destroy that wall?”. Bowser, King Dedede, and Plankton quickly ran to their airships to join the fight. But Eggman stayed behind to upgrade Mecha Sonic for the battle ahead.
At the grasslands, Larry and Ludwig arrived to battle Peppino and Pac-Man. Peppino, frustrated, screamed and unleashed his stress-powered attacks on them. Meanwhile, Kamek trapped Peach inside an invisible ball! Mario and Luigi rushed to save her — but they too got caught! Just then, Sonic sped in and kicked Kamek high into the sky, freeing Mario, Luigi, and Peach.
As the heroes caught their breath, the skies suddenly darkened and a fierce storm brewed. Bowser and the villains were heading for an even bigger invasion of the Mushroom Kingdom.
