Japanese destroyer JS Ise (DDH-182) docks in Manila for a port visit while Philippine Navy personnel welcome her crew, signaling the growing cooperation between the naval forces of the Philippines and Japan following the ratification of the Reciprocal Access Agreement.
A second destroyer, JS Suzunami (DD-114), is also in Port Area.
