Two new Farmers’ markets featuring local foods and other products have opened in Deep River and Chester. The Lace Factory Marketplace at 161 River Street in Deep River is an indoor Farmers’ Market in a historic former shipbuilding and lace factory. The market is open twice a week on Wednesdays from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. and Saturdays 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Downtown Chester is now host to a Sunday market that runs from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. each Sunday through October 4th.
