Showers of rain will continue to come and go across western and northern Scotland as well as northern England and Northern Ireland. These will reduce slightly as the night progresses with some clear skies opening up in eastern Scotland especially. In Wales and north Devon low cloud will bring patchy drizzle and poor visibility. Much of southern and central England should remain dry through this period.
