Srinagar, Pahalgam (J&K), June 25, 2025 (ANI): Security forces conducted a mock drill near the transit campus, Pantha Chowk ahead of upcoming Amarnath Yatra in Jammu and Kashmir on June 25. The drill aimed to assess the preparedness and coordination between various agencies. The Shri Amarnath Yatra will commence on July 3 this year and culminate on August 9.“This year we have even more multi-layered security arrangements for Amarnath Yatra. All these drills aim to refine the response to any contingency. Mock drills are being conducted at all locations of the Amarnath Yatra in the Kashmir Valley today,” said Vidhi Kumar Birdi.
