North 24 Parganas (West Bengal), June 29, 2025 (ANI): TMC MLA Madan Mitra responded to reports of a disciplinary notice over his remarks on the alleged Kolkata gangrape case, He said, “Till now, I have not received anything. This is a matter of the party. I will talk about it inside the party.” Notably, the notice, signed by West Bengal TMC President and Rajya Sabha MP Subrata Bakshi, demands an explanation within three days from Mitra for breaching party discipline, following his remarks on the incident that were widely criticised for alleged victim-blaming.
