Defending champion Krejcikova hoping for no injury troubles at Wimbledon
Defending Wimbledon champion Barbora Krejcikova has played down any injury fears on Sunday, June 29, ahead of her return to the grasscourt Grand Slam in London.
The Czech pulled out of the Eastbourne tournament on Thursday with a thigh issue after reaching the quarter-finals at Devonshire Park.
Krejcikova has endured a difficult season with a back injury also limiting her to a handful of matches.
Krejcikova begins the defense of her title against Alexandra Eala, who made history as the first Filipino to reach a WTA Tour final at the Eastbourne Open.
