The appointment of individuals to senior leadership roles in the Royal Malaysia Police reflects the force's confidence in their credibility and capability, says Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Mohd Khalid Ismail.
Speaking at the rank-wearing and handover ceremony for the directors and Police Family Association (Perkep) chairpersons of the Commercial Crime Investigation Department and the Integrity and Standards Compliance Department on Wednesday (June 25), Mohd Khalid emphasised that such appointments carry a responsibility that must be honoured to strengthen departmental performance and uphold national security and public well-being.
