Central Mexico residents battle floods and debris after storm Barry
Torrential rains linked to Tropical Storm Barry caused significant damage on Monday, June 30, in the state of San Luis Potosi, central Mexico, according to local authorities.
The storm made landfall on Sunday and moved inland, bringing heavy rains to areas including Veracruz, Tamaulipas, and San Luis Potosi.
Residents in Santa Maria del Rio began clean up efforts following the flood, clearing rocks and debris from the roads and discarding damaged belongings from their homes.
