Jabalpur, MP — The first rain exposed the tall claims of development in Jabalpur as a water-filled pothole in Aadhartal area led to a shocking accident. On 26 June, an auto carrying two women, two school children, and the driver overturned after falling into a hidden pit on a waterlogged road.
Locals rushed to rescue the passengers safely. The driver reportedly failed to spot the pothole due to rainwater. CCTV footage of the incident has since gone viral, sparking questions over the Municipal Corporation’s negligence.
Residents allege repeated complaints about the damaged drain and pothole were ignored.
