At least 24 fatalities have been confirmed as a result of flash floods along the Guadalupe River in Texas, Kerr County Sheriff Larry Leitha said on Friday (July 4).
Emergency crews continue search and rescue efforts, as heavy rains caused the river to overflow rapidly, sweeping through homes and campsites in the area.
