Tanakpur (Uttarakhand), July 5, 2025: Uttarakhand Chief Minister on July 5 welcomed the first batch of pilgrims arriving in Tanakpur to embark on the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra. The CM greeted the pilgrims with a Rudraksha mala at the tourist guest house.The holy Kailash Mansarovar Yatra commenced on June 20 after a five-year gap. The pilgrimage was earlier suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic and strained relations between India and China.
