Muharram 2025: उत्तर प्रदेश के प्रतापगढ़ में कुंडा विधायक राजा भैया के पिता उदय प्रताप सिंह को एक बार फिर मुहर्रम के दिन हाउस अरेस्ट कर लिया गया है। उनके साथ 13 अन्य समर्थकों को भी नजरबंद किया गया है और उनके भदरी महल को पुलिस छावनी में तब्दील कर दिया गया है। महल के बाहर भारी पुलिस बल तैनात है और ड्रोन कैमरों से निगरानी की जा रही है ताकि किसी भी तरह की अप्रिय घटना को रोका जा सके।
यह मामला आज का नहीं, बल्कि पिछले 8 सालों से हर मुहर्रम पर दोहराया जाता है। इस पूरे विवाद की जड़ साल 2012 से जुड़ी है, जब शेखपुरा गांव में एक बंदर की मौत के बाद वहां एक हनुमान मंदिर बना दिया गया था। इसके बाद राजा भैया के पिता उदय प्रताप सिंह ने हर साल मुहर्रम के दिन वहां हनुमान पाठ और भंडारे का आयोजन करना शुरू कर दिया। साल 2015 में जब भंडारा और मुहर्रम का ताजिया जुलूस एक ही दिन पड़ा, तो मुस्लिम समुदाय ने इसका विरोध किया और ताजिया उठाने से मना कर दिया, जिससे इलाके में सांप्रदायिक तनाव फैल गया। प्रशासन के हस्तक्षेप के बाद मामला शांत हुआ, लेकिन अगले साल से प्रशासन ने उदय प्रताप सिंह को भंडारे की अनुमति देना बंद कर दिया। मामला हाईकोर्ट भी पहुंचा, जिसके बाद से जिलाधिकारी हर साल कानून-व्यवस्था बनाए रखने के लिए उन्हें मुहर्रम के दिन हाउस अरेस्ट करते हैं।
