New Delhi, July 7, 2025: Congress leader Shama Mohamed, on July 7, welcomed the Supreme Court's decision to hear petitions challenging the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls in Bihar. Talking to ANI, the Congress leader Shama Mohamed said "...It is now clear what the Election Commission is doing in Bihar at the behest of the central government, because nobody does something like this two months before an election in Bihar. Why did the election commission not do this a year before?... This is done solely to help the centre and the JDU government regain power in Bihar."
