Laos is a landlocked country in the mountainous region of the Mekong River basin, and I feel a sense of familiarity with the temples and rural scenery. The melody of the national anthem is gentle, similar to the scenery.d(^_^) Laos gained independence from France in 1953, and became a socialist country in 1975.
