Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh), July 08, 2025 (ANI): The administration has installed QR codes on the route of Kanwar pilgrims in the capital... Customers will be able to give feedback on the quality of food by scanning the code. The Fertilizer and Logistics Department inspected the food items at the shops located on the Kanwar route on Faizabad Road and destroyed the expired products. The administration in Uttar Pradesh has started taking precautions regarding the Kanwar Yatra in the month of Shravan. Strict instructions have been issued especially regarding food and medicine safety on the Yatra route. The Food Safety and Drug Administration Department has ordered all districts that all food establishments on the Kanwar route must have a valid license or registration.These establishments must prominently display their registration certificate and food safety display board (FSD) so that customers can see it. From Faizabad Road of the capital Lucknow, many pilgrims go to Mahadev and Shivalaya located in Ayodhya for Jalabhishek.In view of this, the Food Logistics Department took samples from the food shops and checked their quality and the expired items found in the shops and restaurants were checked for the same. They are being destroyed on the spot and for giving feedback of the shop, a tax code has been generated through an application on which customers will be able to give their feedback.
