Mumbai, July 9, 2025: Union Minister and Republican Party of India (Athawale) President Ramdas Athawale strongly condemned Nishikant Dubey’s recent statement, calling it unappropriated. He warned that such actions by the MNS could endanger the lives of Marathis across India. Speaking to ANI, Athawale said, “What is happening in Mumbai is not right. The role of MNS is inappropriate. Nishikant Dubey’s remarks are not acceptable to the public. However, he didn’t target all Marathi people—only those involved in ‘dadagiri.’ This is not the BJP’s stance; it is his personal opinion. Raj Thackeray must reconsider his approach. We are proud to be Marathi too, but opposing Hindi is not the right path.”
