Samsun Yurt Savunma (SYS Group), the parent company of the CANiK, AEI Systems, and UNIROBOTICS brands, conducted live-fire tests for the first time in the United Kingdom with its 30×113 mm VENOM LR medium-calibre cannon during the Close Combat Symposium (CCS) 2025, held from 1 to 3 July.
CCS 2025 brought together key officials from the UK Ministry of Defence, NATO delegations, partner nations, research institutes, and system integrators. The SYS Group seized the opportunity to strengthen its presence in the international defence sector by showcasing the real-world performance of its products in the field.
