Delhi, July 10 2025 (ANI):  On recent reported incidents of alleged MNS workers attacking non-Marathi speakers in Maharashtra, Union Minister Ramdas Athawale said, "... 'Thappad ka thappad se jawab dena padega'... This 'gundagardi' must be stopped..." He says, "It is not right to oppose Marathi... But, people like Tata, Birla, Adani, and Ambani, who came to Maharashtra from outside, have also significantly contributed to making Mumbai an economic capital... Around 80% of non-Marathis speak Marathi. If 20% can't, then beating them up is not right. My party has opposed this too... Raj Thackeray should instruct his party workers...
